The Desktop Support Technician is part of a team responsible for supporting a multitude of IT related issues that range from desktops, laptops, network, telecom, video conferencing, VoIP, mobility and server or infrastructure problems. The position is also a member of a global remote support team working to diagnose, resolve, and respond to IT incidents in a fast-paced environment.

They facilitate discussions amongst business stakeholders across the organization to ensure all groups impacted by a project are given an opportunity to provide the necessary feedback as functional requirements are gathered and confirmed. Projects can range from minor enhancements to larger and more complex work items for insurance quoting and policy management systems, and responsibilities may include production support on assigned systems.
The BSA is responsible for working with IT to deliver software solutions for new and existing products and services within our company. The BSA is involved at some level throughout the entire software development life cycle and collaborates with the technology teams to ensure that they have the information they need for successful solution delivery. They serve the agile teams by ongoing and iterative prioritization of the product backlog, ensuring requirements for user stories/features are complete prior to each sprint, and addressing questions the team may have in sprint planning and throughout the sprint.
