AmTrust North America Claims is looking for an experienced data and reporting thought partner and motivated self-starter to lead a team of local and remote resources to deliver on several high impact and high visibility strategic priorities. This role will be on a hybrid schedule in an AmTrust location.   This position will report to the VP, Claims Reporting & Analytics and will support the North American Claims Organization by providing data and reporting to drive operational excellence across the Claims organization. The right candidate will bring a balance of leadership, technical expertise, vision, creativity and execution to the table. 

Lead the State and Local tax (SALT) function of a multinational insurance holding company.  This role is primarily responsible for conducting tax research, planning, and compliance.  You’ll focus on issues related to income and franchise tax, personal property and real estate, credits and incentives, and indirect tax.   You’ll help with assessing our state and local tax burden and recommend solutions that support AmTrust’s overall business objectives to establish filling positions consistent with good business practices and with the states applicable tax laws and rules.   The AmTrust Tax Department has a hybrid work policy – the employees are required to work from our Downtown Cleveland office Tuesday through Thursday but can work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.  A conscientious self-starter with strong communication skills is required.

A Commercial Property General Adjuster is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving large and complex property claims involving commercial buildings, equipment, and inventory. The adjuster must have extensive knowledge of property insurance policies, coverages, and exclusions, as well as the ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with clients, brokers, and other parties. The adjuster must also be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.

Under Moderate Supervision, builds, analyzes, and interprets data and market insights that drive and support profit and growth strategies for a line of business or segment.   The position will provide detailed analysis of production and profit data, competitor behaviors, marketplace dynamics, pricing segmentation and UW analytics to monitor and understand core drivers of business. We currently have a need for candidates with inside commercial lines experience to handle claims throughout the United States.    Under minimal supervision, the Property Claims Adjuster II is responsible for planning and executing the investigation and processing of assigned first-party commercial property claims that are of medium complexity and severity from beginning to end.
