  • Overview

    The Compensation Analyst will be administering the company compensation programs, conducting job evaluations, salary survey administration and analysis, position reviews for equity and market competitiveness, exempt/non-exempt status determination, and compensation policy interpretation. Works closely with manager to make decisions.


    • Assists in the preparation and execution of bonus and annual salary review programs.
    • Maintains job profiles in the organization by evaluating, benchmarking, and creating.
    • Maintains all compensation-related business processes, requests and reports within Workday.
    • Provides support to managers and HRBP's on creating new positions, providing benchmarking data and overall compensation support.
    • Participates in salary surveys and performs competitive market analysis for salary review and planning.
    • Makes recommendations to management on individual compensation as well as competitive compensation plans.
    • Maintains salary structure for proper grade placement of profiles and evaluate ranges for market adjustments.
    • Monitors changes in federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
    • Assist in mergers and acquisitions to ensure new employees are placed properly in our organization.
    • May assist in equity administration.
    • Additional duties as assigned


    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
    • 3+ years of experience in the analysis, design and administration of compensation programs; prefer experience in insurance and / or financial services industry
    • Advanced PC skills in MS Office, specifically proficient in MS Excel or other data analytic tools using data, formulas and functions to gather, manipulate and audit large complex information sets.
    • Strong knowledge of databases, report writing and HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
    • Active professional certification in Human Resources or Compensation or strong intent to pursue a certification
    • Knowledge of compensation plan analysis and administration
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act.
    • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop effective relationships and partnerships with HR team and business partners at all levels within the organization.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer orientation
