  • Overview

    Reconciliation, analysis and monitoring of intercompany transactions and eliminations to ensure data integrity at a consolidation firm level and for each subsidy. Work with Group Controller toward specific financial objectives including enhancing control environment for intercompany transactions.


    • Review subsidiaries general ledger intercompany activities to ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and procedures
    • Reconciliations and monitoring of intercompany transactions by each legal entity and on a consolidated basis
    • Prepare and book monthly journal entries for intercompany transactions and eliminations
    • Research and resolve intercompany differences (requires working with various groups including entity controllers, business unit controllers, transfer pricing group etc.)
    • Assist with analysis, reporting and monitoring of intercompany eliminations including variance analysis on a legal entity basis and consolidated level
    • Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations for both balance sheet and income statement by legal entity / counterparties to ensure that intercompany transactions are booked consistently and to ensure proper eliminations at a consolidated level for the firm
    • Participate in month-end closes and complete quarterly requests for intercompany and eliminations information for Regulatory Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis and Audits as needed
    • Prepare monthly deck for all intercompany activity and eliminations
    • Continually review control environment to ensure data integrity
    • Develop and update written desktop procedures
    • Assist with monitoring of the Transfer Pricing Group’s operational process and control environment
    • Perform other projects or duties as assigned


    • Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance
    • Minimum of 10 years related experience 
    • Relevant experience at a global financial services company, preferably insurance/reinsurance firm
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Proficiency in all Windows application
    • Oracle EBS or Oracle ERP General Ledger experience highly preferred
    • Requires the ability to work with various groups across the organization
