    AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., is a multinational property and casualty insurance company and operates through a number of subsidiaries. Business operations are divided into three segments: Small Commercial Business insurance, Specialty Risk and Extended Warranty insurance, and Specialty Middle-Market Property and Casualty insurance. The company’s main regions of operations are North America, the United Kingdom and Europe. 


    We are a tight knit team of developers that needs to expand to accommodate the increasing scope and pace of our projects. We maintain and develop operational accounting systems across many of Amtrust's lines of business. Our team takes a heavily collaborative approach as we are tasked with enhancements to existing systems, new development, hunting down and fixing bugs, as well as some business support. In this role you will learn basic accounting practices and a number of facets of insurance.


    • Will be responsible for handling enhancements and bug fixes on SQL based batch processes and potentially assist on new projects
    • Employee will be responsible for handling tickets pertaining to issues documenting their work and what was fixed
    • Write and maintain intermediate to advanced SQL queries
    • Manage code changes with version control using Git branches


    • College Degree Desired
    • Self-Starter/Motivated
    • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of SQL and SQL querying
    • Basic knowledge of object oriented development concepts
    • Preferable exposure to C# and .NET Framework
    • Accounting knowledge/experience is a plus
    • NET WebAPI experience is a plus
    • Internship or Equivalent experience is a plus
    • .NET experience is a plus
