  • Overview

    The successful candidate will provide proactive recruitment and support primarily for our IT roles in the US. The successful candidate will work to provide hands-on full life cycle recruitment for our IT divisions with high volume recruitment needs. Source, assess, and recruit candidates for openings at all levels. Develop and implement innovative and cost effective recruiting strategies for positions. Work with other members of the recruiting team on corporate wide recruitment projects and initiatives.



    Responsibilities

    • Assigned IT areas, flexible to learn and grow in other areas within Corporate Services as needed
    • Full-cycle recruitment to include: job description development, job posting, sourcing, interviewing, reference checks and offer negotiation
    • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research, sourcing and on-going relationship management
    • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level vacancies
    • Devise and carry out a targeted research strategy
    • Track and identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels
    • Offer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through to its completion
    • Follow up with clients and assist with the candidate’s transition and onboarding process
    • Network and build long-lasting client relationships
    • Know your area of expertise (specialized industry or job function)
    • Research and develop recruiting leads
    • May develop, lead and manage the daily activity and results of a team of Corporate Recruiters (1-2).
    • Establish strong partnerships with hiring teams to quickly assess business needs, determine candidate profile and launch a thorough hiring strategy
    • Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline
    • Ability to effectively manage Staffing Vendor relationships for contract to hire and/or project based hiring

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 7 years full-cycle recruiting experience required; of this experience 3 years of IT recruiting. Must be open and flexible to assisting other areas as needed
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Proficiency using ATS systems and meeting goals in a metric driven environment
    • Prior experience working in an insurance/financial services, or with a third party administrator is highly desirable.
    • Passionate about providing exceptional customer service to internal and external partners and clients
    • Proven aptitude to execute in a changing professional environment
    • Possess a wide range of experience on current corporate recruiting policies, practices, and industry trends
    • Strong knowledge of basic employment law, OFCCP guidelines and HR practices
    • Experienced in behavioral based interviewing, pre-employment testing, and other innovative selection methods
    • Able to assess staffing needs and develop creative and effective recruiting strategies to meet those needs; experience applying web 2.0 concepts a plus
    • Aptitude in assessing intangible aspects of candidates accurately (candidate's fit with the position and with the company culture)
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work with all levels of management
