AmTrust Financial is hiring a Regional Sales Representative to work within our dealer network to represent our Dealer Package products.  The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of business insurance products to dealerships and other targeted classes of business.  Business insurance products include Commercial Property/Casualty Dealer Package (P&C), and ancillary business insurance products.  The successful candidate will enjoy a lucrative compensation plan with excellent growth potential.


  • Developing, implementing, and managing an annual business plan to achieve sales objectives
  • Planning and executing the day-to-day activities necessary to achieve sales objectives
  • Initiating contacts with business owners and key managers, obtaining submission information, diagnosing business insurance needs, creating ACORDs and quote submission information, reviewing quotes and policies for accuracy, negotiating pricing with underwriters, making sales presentations, offering solutions to customer’s insurance needs, closing sales, and providing services after the sale
  • Providing feedback and recommendations regarding business insurance sales initiatives, marketing challenges, and opportunities
  • Completing and submitting, on a timely and accurate basis, required sales activity reports
  • Working effectively with assigned Business Insurance Account Executive


  • 2+ years experience in the heavy equipment industry either with a dealer, finance company, or other similar organization
  • 2+ years experience in Business to Business (B2B) sales
  • Self-starter, strong communications skills, and a proven track record of sales success
  • Sales experience with agricultural and construction equipment dealerships
  • Experience in recruiting, training, motivating, and managing captive insurance agents
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, marketing, or a related field
