Title Post Closing/Recording Coordinator

Recording Coordinator is responsible for post-closing processing of closing packages. They are responsible for ensuring the documents are in good form and are recorded in the proper progression.  Must handle resolution of county rejections and follow documents through the recording process until they are returned to proper parties in their recorded forms.


  • Responsible for breaking down closing packages, identifying missing documents, scanning, labelling and saving closing packages to the system.
  • Responsible for document review and preparation of documents for recording. Experience in ACRIS and Prep tax form/cover page preparation is a plus.
  • Able, under supervision, to identify and resolve potential issues with recording documents.
  • Setting up and requesting checks for recordings.
  • Responsible for sending documents to proper County or examiner for recording.
  • Able to track documents through the recording process until documents are of record and return to the proper party.
  • Refunding of recording overages.
  • Maintain status spreadsheets for various aspects of post-closing process.


  • Between 1-3 years of Title experience necessary.
  • Must have good written and oral skills.
  • Must work well under pressure in a fast paced, team driven environment.
  • Professional and dependable.
  • Ability to problem solve, think critically and pay attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn recordings from an audit forward perspective as well as other job functions as assigned.
  • Knowledge of commercial and residential documents and familiarity with county specific rules and regulations is a plus.
