Overview

AmTrust Financial Services, a fast growing commercial insurance company, has an immediate need for a Claims Clerk in our Call Center.

Responsibilities

The call center claims clerk is responsible to perform various support functions for the claims department that include, but are not limited to, those listed in the essential job functions section below.

  • Research, respond, and resolve issues in a timely manner from inbound calls as well as returning outbound calls
  • Provide appropriate contact information from initial call
  • Enter claim file documentation in reference to call activity
  • Assist callers by providing highest level of customer service

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 6 months experience in a claims department a plus
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Availability for 9:00am - 6:00pm, 9:30am – 6:30pm or 10:00am – 7:00pm shift
  • Ability to handle high volume Inbound calls
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
  • Meet daily productivity requirements
