AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., is a New York City-based multinational property and casualty insurance company. Operating through its subsidiaries, its operations are divided into three segments: Small Commercial Business insurance, Specialty Risk and Extended Warranty insurance, and Specialty Middle-Market Property and Casualty insurance. 


We are seeking a Senior Examiner with Title experience.



  • Reports to Production Manager

  • Excellent reading, writing, spelling and communication skills

  • Competent keyboard skills.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Computer literacy in MicroSoft Office suite
  • An ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Ability to train and mentor others
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours
  • An ability to work well as part of a team


  • 5 or more years of title experience needed, salaried position.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Experienced examining commercial properties in Virginia.
  • If more information is needed to conduct exam, communicates with Centralized Order Desk or company representative.
  • Modifies and corrects draft title commitment in title software.
  • Confirms accurate legal description, current owner, makes corrections, adds language, exceptions, requirements and mortgage schedules as needed.
  • Prepares survey readings, investigates water rights and completes complicated deed chains.
