Overview

The Program Specialist is responsible for leading program implementation, onboarding and ongoing management of our strategic supplier base.  The Program specialist is the key point of contact for these strategic relationships and continuously monitor vendor performance to KPI’s, works with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives and leads issue resolution on behalf of the suppliers or the business.  This role will own management of vendor performance management

Responsibilities

  • Establishes processes around Performance Management by building expectations with key suppliers (quarterly business reviews, dashboards)
  • Develop program implementation plans with the input of the Sourcing team and roll out across the organization.
  • Manage organization compliance to programs and reports out to exec. management.
  • Point person for new SOW’s with existing key strategic suppliers. Handles implementation, issue resolution, and adjustments to contracts as necessary
  • Assists in the establishment of a contract management process and manages contracts to terms across the enterprise.
  • Develops partnerships with internal clients (including efficient cross-functional collaboration) to effectively support programs.
  • Assists the Procurement department in the setup and overall management of the AmTrust vendor database including vendor categorization.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in business
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Program or Project Management role

  • Executive level reporting capabilities
  • Self-Starter/motivated
  • Demonstrated project leadership and change management skills
  • Strong Communication skills (relationship/stakeholder management)
  • Will have interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade both internal clients and suppliers, work well in a team.
  • The candidate should have the ability to establish programs and processes
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities
