Overview

AmTrust is hiring an Agency Captives Representative to expand the practice and drive division revenue.  The Agency Captives Representative will be responsible for meeting with prospective agencies and educating them on the service offering.  The ideal candidate will be skilled at presenting complex subject matter in a clear and concise manner to C-level individuals.  This would be a great opportunity for anyone with a thorough understanding of insurance to advance their career with a unique and extremely profitable line of business.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a regional resource and leading face-to-face meetings with agency principals and their advisors
  • Communicating a joint vision of profitable growth with the AmTrust regional teams to their agents
  • Conducting quarterly calls with active participants to answer questions and keep them focused on profitable production
  • Understanding the difference between different captive approaches, profit-sharing, and what makes our agency captive program unique in the industry
  • Requesting proformas and follow-up on proformas and answer questions until a letter of intent is signed by the agent
  • Recognizing the difference between and ideal candidate and a poor candidate for the program
  • Maintaining an understanding of all AmTrust systems, products, services and solutions
  • Communicating confidently the math behind the program

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Seasoned insurance industry experience
  • Knowledge of captive industry
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid understanding of accounting and reinsurance principles and basic understanding of the cell’s financial statements and our proforma financial statements
  • Strong sales instincts
  • Willingness to travel 75% of the time
