Overview

 

  • Under the direction of the IT Vendor Manager, assist with all aspects of IT contract and vendor management post-contract execution, including but not limited to contract and document retention, data entry, contract analysis and reporting, and vendor relationship management.
  • Support related IT Administrative functions, as needed, at the direction of IT Vendor Manager.
  • Conduct IT Project Management duties, as assigned. 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the IT Purchasing team and Global Procurement team to review executed IT contracts, in order to identify key data points and contract obligations (such as deliverables and service level agreements).
  • Engage in ongoing data entry activity to ensure that the identified key contract data fields and risks for executed IT contracts are properly logged in AmTrust’s designated IT contract management platform.
  • Track IT contract end dates, renewal deadlines and other key deliverable dates.
  • Monitor existing IT contracts to ensure all obligations are met and that impacted employees understand and comply, as necessary, with contract requirements.
  • Prepare and disseminate status reports to appropriate employees regarding IT contract status.
  • Perform activities necessary to support IT Administration’s physical and electronic document retention activities.
  • Research and respond to contract related inquiries posed by service owners and management.
  • Support the Global Procurement team, as necessary, in efforts designed to reduce costs or consolidate vendors.
  • Assist IT Vendor Manager with developing and implementing vendor performance evaluations, comprised of scorecards, surveys and metric reports.
  • Conduct project management duties, as assigned, with potential for presentations on data to internal clients and management.
  • Assist with documentation of best practice policies and procedures. Seek out and recommend process improvements to maximize efficiency of operation.
  • Provide routine administrative support, upon request.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

 

  • College degree required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in contract review, analysis and management required, with ability to review, interpret and analyze complex contract terms.
  • Proven work experience as a Vendor Analyst, Vendor Manager, Contract Administrator, Contract Analyst, Contract Manager, Project Manager, or in legal services preferred.     
  • 3-5 years of relevant/qualified experience in the field or in a related area required.
  • Experience in Information Technology, Finance and/or Insurance preferred.

 

Skills and Competencies:

 

  • Experience with and desire to perform data entry.
  • Customer service focused, with good communication and presentation skills; experience communicating and presenting complex information at every organizational level.
  • Strong attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors and inconsistencie
