The Business Systems Analyst serves as a strategic partner, leading the alignment of complex business needs with advanced IT solutions. In this senior capacity, the BSA II takes ownership of eliciting, analyzing, validating, and managing the comprehensive requirements of diverse stakeholders, including executive leadership, customers, and end users. The analyst not only drives collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams but also ensures that system solutions support and advance organizational strategy.
Serve as the lead liaison between executive stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring strategic alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Translate complex business requirements into functional specifications for commercial insurance systems.
Provide subject matter expertise and strategic guidance across assigned domains and initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage system changes, ensuring data integrity and workflow optimization.
Lead issue analysis and resolution efforts to maintain system performance and scalability.
Support implemented systems with expert troubleshooting and enhancement recommendations.
Facilitate agile communication and stakeholder engagement using best practices.
Use SQL for data analysis and actionable insights.
Participate in demand planning and evaluate high-impact business requests.
Document requirements, process models, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Mentor junior analysts and lead large-scale strategic projects.
Validate developed functionality with technical teams and end users.
Partner with underwriting, actuarial, finance, and IT to identify needs and recommend improvements.
Conduct gap analyses and propose solutions for efficiency and compliance.
Oversee UAT, training, and post-implementation support.
Ensure compliance with data privacy, regulatory, and governance standards.
Provide senior oversight on project planning, timelines, and risk assessments.
The expected salary range for this role is USD $58,500.00 - USD $100,000.00 Yr.
