· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
· 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering with on-premise and cloud data platforms
· Highly effective in communicating complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
· Develop and improve existing data models to accurately represent end-to-end business processes, ensuring they're scalable and fully integrate with the extensive data architecture
· Proven experience designing and building large-scale data platforms.
· Implement best practices in data modeling, DevOps, ETL/ELT processes.
· Drive automation and CI/CD practice in data engineering workflows.
· Experience in Data Modeling tools such as Idera, ERWin
Preferred Skills:
· Expert level (hands-on) knowledge and understanding of recent versions of Microsoft SQL Server 2016, SSIS, Stored Procedures
· Strong expertise with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, Synapse Analytics
· Data Modelling - dimensional/reporting, data warehousing and transactional use cases (Physical and Logical modelling)
· Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, Java, or equivalent
Nice to Have
· Hands-on expertise with Snowflake and related technologies in the Snowflake ecosystem (dbt/Fivetran etc.) for both batch & streaming use cases.
· Experience in test automation tools & frameworks: Selenium, WebdriverIO, Appium, BrowserStack
The expected salary range for this role is ($87,500.00 - $145,000.00)
