PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Disability Management Manager has the responsibility of collaborating with the claims teams to review claims and to formulate recommendations for a return-to-work plan for Workers’ Compensation claimants. Assesses industry standard disability guidelines for expected disability duration, and formulates a return-to-work plan, identifying possible resources and working directly with our insureds to help facilitate modified and full duty RTW. The role requires excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to successfully communicate with our insureds by explaining the benefits of alternative positions and will assist the employer in finding suitable positions. Partners with the AmTrust Claims team to expedite a timely and safe return to pre-injury employment. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust’s mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.
