Overview

AmTrust Financial, a fast growing P&C Insurance company is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst supporting the Sales organization for the North America P&C division.

Responsibilities

  1. Primarily responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales related data to provide insightful reports/dashboards to increase sales productivity
  2. Develop and maintain both standardized and custom reports, conduct key sales analysis, participate in cross functional projects, and support sales managers with accurate and meaningful reporting and data analysis
  3. Work on the development and implementation of enhancements in Salesforce and proprietary management systems by documenting requirements, conducting UAT testing and creating training materials for end-users
  4. Collaborate with IT, operations, and analytics teams to develop and implement sales reports/dashboards in PowerBI, Salesforce, CRM Analytics, etc.
  5. Assist with the administration and the execution of quarterly sales compensation plans
  6. Support ad-hoc requests

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Business Administration, or Finance required
  • 5+ yrs experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance industry
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required
  • Fluency with SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with Power BI and Salesforce, preferably Financial Services Cloud
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and attention to detail
  • Experience with data management and an understanding of data transformation and visualization techniques to drive insights and data-driven decision making
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and solve complex problems with focus on simplicity and scalability
  • Effectively manages many priorities across the organization and adjust as priorities change
  • Ability to work in a team environment, but also self-motivated to produce results with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional communication skills including ability to communicate new concepts when interfacing with sales teams and region management
