Overview

A Bureau Financial Analyst 2 will be responsible for reviewing and reconciling data calls, as well as taking any additional tasks required to maintain data accuracy. Further processes may include examining source systems and interacting with the Bureaus and internal business partners.

 

During the Financial Call down season, the Analyst will analyze and document current procedures for the reporting season, manage individual job assignments, and deliver high-quality results by the deadline.

 

A Bureau Financial Analyst 2 will develop relationships and communicate with several business departments, including underwriting, claims, finance, and information technology operations. Maintaining a thorough understanding of AmTrust's purpose, vision, and values will help you become an amazing Business Analyst 2 and uphold the organization's standards.

Responsibilities

Review financial reports and other necessary information to confirm that the data complies with regulatory agencies, independent state bureaus, and corporate practices. The analyst will assist with processing and clearing of bureau inquiries.

· Identifies, investigates, and corrects policy rating or claim coding errors identified during the data reporting process. Works to address highly complicated reporting discrepancies and disagreements.

· Point of contact for allocated data calls, collaborating with bureaus, underwriters, and claim adjusters.

· Stays current on market developments and requests.

· Performs additional functionally relevant tasks as specified.

Qualifications

Demonstrate familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

· 2 to 3 years of experience reporting on insurance, finance, or banking.

· Excellent organizational, analytical, customer service and interpretation skills.

· Capability to efficiently multitask and operate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred:

 

· Bachelor’s or associate Degree Preferred
