Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Policy Examiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of title insurance policies. This position involves examining title commitments, legal documents, and other relevant information to determine the insurability of properties and to support our commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients. 

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze title search reports, legal descriptions, and other documentation to assess property ownership and any existing liens or encumbrances.

• Evaluate title issues and make informed recommendations for resolutions to mitigate risks associated with insuring a property.

• Prepare and issue title insurance policies, endorsements, and related documentation in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with team members to address questions and provide clarity on title matters.

• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and correspondence related to title examinations and policy issuance.

• Stay updated on practices related to title insurance and real estate transactions.

 

Qualifications

• Proven experience in examining title policies, conducting title searches, and understanding real estate transactions.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proficient in relevant software and tools used in the title insurance industry.
