Overview

Mason title & Escrow Company is seeking an individual to assist with various title processing duties. We are a regional title insurance company with a focus on residential real estate transactions. Through our network of offices, we offer the support and assistance to handle the most complex of transactions. The candidate should pose the ability to work well with people as this is a customer driven industry. The duties include recording documents with the various clerk’s offices, post-closing, ordering surveys, estoppels, payoffs and other items necessary to issue a clear title insurance policy.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones, greet customers, keeping track of daily duties.
  • Order surveys, payoffs, estoppels and other curative related items.
  • Develop and maintain good working relations with customers, as well as the policies and goals of Mason.
  • Support closing team to ensure all documents are prepared in a timely manner.
  • Handle other duties or special projects as assigned by manager.
  • Beginning stages of completing settlement statements.
  • Ability to read title commitment and clear requirements to issue title insurance policy.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional customer service skills and demonstrate ability to maintain strong working relationships with team members as well as parties to the transaction.
  • Prior experience in the title insurance industry or prior commercial or residential real estate experience.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision, multi-task and capability of meeting deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
