Overview

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will oversee the activity of the quality assurance staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organizations products and/or development processes. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust’s mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.

Responsibilities

1. Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
2. Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
3. Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
4. Coordinates product-testing processes.
5. Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
6. Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.
7. Keeps current with market trends and demands.
8. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or IT, in lieu of a degree a minimum of four years related work experience
• Deep knowledge of the testing process, past experience as a SQAA or SDET.
• Audit of work to validate adherence to COE standards.
• Leadership skills; accepts responsibility for outcomes of one’s work. Encourages others to take responsibility.
• Provides encouragement and support to others to accept responsibility; does not accept others’ denial of responsibility
• Sets standards for excellence to achieve quality, productivity and service

Preferred:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
