Overview

Software Engineer II to work intensely with the data work stream through all phases of an engagement, including conceptual design, detailed design, implementation, testing and production deployment.  Responsibilities entail defining, assembling and presenting all technical data deliverables and work products. Must be comfortable leading internal meetings, presenting and defending analysis findings to key stakeholders, and participating on client calls.

Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for handling enhancements and bug fixes on existing ASP.NET web sites or assist on new projects of smaller scope
  • Employee will be responsible for handling tickets pertaining to issues documenting their work and what was fixed.
  • Write beginner to intermediate SQL queries to consume in the application
  • Use jQuery and other client scripting tools to help enhance the front end of ASP.NET web sites
  • Manage code changes with version control using Git branches
  • Software Engineer I’s are expected to be able to implement given requirements and follow directions while adhering to company development practices.
  • Able to implement a given solution to a problem.
  • Ability as a sole programmer. (Average Abilities)
  • Ability to match technical solutions to business needs (read requirements). (Average Abilities)

Qualifications

  • Experienced Developer with 2-5 years of typical work experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of object oriented development concepts
  • Exposure to C#/VB.NET and .NET Framework
  • Self Starter/Motivated
  • Strong communicator
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL and SQL querying
  • ASP.NET experience is preferred.
  • ASP.NET WebAPI required
  • Angular is a plus
  • College Degree Desired
