Lead the State and Local tax (SALT) function of a multinational insurance holding company. This role is primarily responsible for conducting tax research, planning, and compliance. You’ll focus on issues related to income and franchise tax, personal property and real estate, credits and incentives, and indirect tax.
You’ll help with assessing our state and local tax burden and recommend solutions that support AmTrust’s overall business objectives to establish filling positions consistent with good business practices and with the states applicable tax laws and rules.
The AmTrust Tax Department has a hybrid work policy – the employees are required to work from our Downtown Cleveland office Tuesday through Thursday but can work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. A conscientious self-starter with strong communication skills is required.
