Overview

The Account Representatives are expected to carry out daily goals and expectations set forth by his/her supervisor and/or manager. All Account Representatives will be held accountable to the following key objectives: quota attainment, selling skills, product knowledge, and adherence to compliance guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Engage our inside sales office by demonstrating a capability of driving day-to-day operations and facilitating the successful execution of the sales plan objectives;
  • Provide quality customer services and maintains close contact with all customers;
  • Effectively execute on a consultative sales approach;
  • Identifies the needs of each customer and then develops specific sales plan objectives, strategies and tactics to best meet those needs;
  • Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits
  • Executes on strategies designed to open new customer accounts, increase penetration into existing accounts, and increase individual account revenue/profitability;
  • Calculate premiums, establish payment methods and answer customers’ questions  accordingly;
  • Meet performance targets for efficiency, sales and quality;
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, insurance compliance, and business ethics codes;
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including claims and follow-up; activities through management and assigned workflow processes;
  • Exposed to confidential information and expected to maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum 2 years of proven successful telesales or related experience;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Strong PC, company proprietary systems and Internet navigation skills;
  • Maintains a positive attitude and does not engage in “negative teaming” within the sales team;
  • Exercises a high degree of independent action with minimal supervision;
  • Must be extremely flexible with work schedule as business needs require.
  • Knowledge auto service contracts is a plus;
  • General Lines Property & Casualty License a plus, but not mandatory;
